The wedding is over, the ang bao have been counted, and the question every couple asks within a few days is the same: when do we get our photos? After months of planning, the wait can feel longer than it is.

This guide covers what actually happens between the last frame and your finished gallery, how long it takes, what you'll receive, and what to do with your photos once they arrive. Planning your wedding? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll walk you through it.

How long does it take?

Across the industry, turnaround varies widely. Some studios deliver in a couple of weeks; others take several months, especially in peak wedding season.

Our final photos are delivered within 2 to 4 weeks.

Whoever you book, get the delivery window in writing before the wedding. It's the simplest way to avoid an anxious month of wondering.

What happens in between

The wait isn't idle time. A full wedding day produces thousands of frames, and turning them into a gallery takes several stages:

  1. Backing up. The first job after any wedding is securing the files, so nothing can be lost.
  2. Culling. Going through every frame and selecting the keepers — the sharpest, the best expressions, the moments that tell the story.
  3. Editing. Colour, exposure, and tone are corrected across the whole gallery so it looks consistent from the morning prep to the banquet, even though the lighting changed all day.
  4. Retouching. A smaller set of hero images is refined individually in detail.
  5. Delivery. The finished gallery is prepared and sent to you.

This is why "can we just have the raw photos?" usually isn't the shortcut it sounds like. Unedited files look flat and inconsistent; the editing is a large part of what you're paying for.

What you'll receive

It depends on your package. Ours include:

Standard Package

25 Photoshop Images

15 x 4R Prints

$ 1548

Signature Package

20 x 4R Prints

$ 1988

Premium Package

Edited vs retouched, once more: editing is applied to every photo in your gallery; retouching is the detailed refinement of a selected few. Both matter, and they're not the same thing.

Can you get a few photos sooner?

Many couples want a handful of images quickly — for a thank-you post, or to send to relatives who couldn't attend. It's worth asking about when you book, rather than in the days after the wedding, so it can be planned for.

What to do when your photos arrive

  1. Back them up — twice. Download the full gallery and store it in two places: a computer or hard drive and a cloud service. Online galleries and download links don't last forever.
  2. Look through them together. Set aside an evening. It's one of the nicest moments of the whole wedding process, and it's easy to rush.
  3. Choose your favourites for print. Your prints are a starting point; pick the images you'll want on the wall or in frames for your parents.
  4. Send photos to family. Parents and grandparents often care most and ask least. A small selection sent directly means a lot.
  5. Plan any album or extra prints. Additional prints or albums can be ordered if you'd like more than your package includes — popular as gifts for both sets of parents.
  6. Leave a review. If you were happy with your photographer, a review is the single most useful thing you can do for them.

Questions to ask before you book

  • What is your delivery timeline, in writing?
  • How many edited and how many retouched images will we receive?
  • How are files backed up after the wedding?
  • How will the gallery be delivered, and for how long can we access it?
  • Can we order extra prints or an album later?

These sit alongside the wider checklist in our guide on how to choose a wedding photographer in Singapore.
