1. Invitations and save-the-dates

The most time-sensitive use. A single strong portrait carries an invitation, and couples often pick a second, more relaxed image for a save-the-date.


Plan for it: invitations need to go out well before the wedding, and our photos are delivered within 2 to 4 weeks of the shoot. Work backwards from your send-out date when you book — this is the main reason most couples shoot 6 to 12 months ahead. See our pre-wedding shoot timing guide.


2. The banquet photo montage

A near-universal feature of Singapore banquets: a montage of your pre-wedding or love-story photos screened during dinner. Guests genuinely watch it.


What works: a mix of wide, scene-setting frames and close, emotional ones — variety keeps a montage from feeling repetitive. This is one reason multiple outfits and locations pay off; two or three distinct looks give a montage its shape.

3. Welcome displays and the guestbook

At the reception entrance, couples typically use:

  • A large framed portrait or welcome signage image
  • A guestbook built around pre-wedding photos, so guests write alongside your images
  • Table or corridor displays of smaller prints


Plan for it: you'll want at least one image that works large. Portrait-orientation shots with clean backgrounds enlarge best — worth mentioning to your photographer during the shoot.


4. Your album

An album is where the full story lives — not just the two or three images everyone sees, but the sequence.


Both our pre-wedding packages include a photo album, and Package 02 also includes framed prints (4 × 4R and 1 × 5R). Additional prints and albums can be ordered if you want copies for parents, which is a common and very well-received gift.


5. Framed prints for your home

The images you'll live with longest. A framed portrait on the wall outlasts every montage and invitation.


A practical note: think about where a print will hang before you choose it. Wall colour, frame size, and orientation all matter more than people expect. Clean, simple compositions tend to work best at large sizes.


6. Social and everyday use

Announcement posts, profile photos, and the images you'll actually send to friends. Vertical crops work best on phones, so it's worth having a few frames composed with that in mind.

The single most useful habit: decide what you need the photos for before the shoot, not after.

  • Need a large framed print? Ask for portrait-orientation frames with clean backgrounds.
  • Need a banquet montage? Prioritise variety — multiple outfits and locations.
  • Need invitations by a certain date? Book early enough to allow shoot plus 2–4 weeks delivery.
  • Want albums for parents? Mention it up front so we plan the coverage accordingly.
